Venison Tacos




1lb ground venison

1 small onion, minced

1 TBSP chili powder

2 tsp garlic salt

2 tsp cumin

½ tsp dried oregano

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp fresh ground pepper

½ tsp sugar

½ cup tomato sauce

¼ cup water



Taco shells or tortillas of your choice (hard or soft, corn or flour)

Shredded cheddar cheese

Sour cream

Salsa, taco sauce or hot sauce of your choice

Chopped tomato

Chopped onions

Shredded Lettuce


In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, cook onions and venison until browned. Add spices and tomato sauce. Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Build your tacos and enjoy!
