Ah, Utah. Land of odd drinking laws, soaring mountains with some of the most varied geography on the planet, bright blue skies and “the greatest snow on earth” for the skiing and snowboard crowd. And also, of course, home of the only company making arrows in the USA.
Remnants of that winter snow are still in evidence on the mountain peaks as the world’s best archers have started to gather at the Easton Salt Lake Archery Center for the third leg of the 2017 Hyundai Archery World Cup.
Hot and breezy conditions are expected to dominate through the entire event, but the low humidity this time of year promises comfortable conditions.
Qualification rounds begin on June 21, culminating with Compound finals on June 24 and recurve finals on June 25.
In the USA, the finals events will be carried live on NBC Sports.
