Team Easton Reigns Supreme At World Cup —
The 2023 outdoor season is fully underway, and once again Team Easton shooters have captured every individual Gold Medal at the first World Level event of the season.
Starting its 17th year, the Archery World Cup once again kicked off in Antalya, Turkey, with more than 390 archers from 52 countries on the field for the first event of the 2023 international circuit.
For the recurve shooters, momentum is being built for next years Paris Olympic Games, while the compound competitors are gearing up for the World Archery Championship in Berlin later this summer.
Easton shooters took every individual Gold Medal, in every category.
Slovenia’s Jozef Bozansky took the men’s individual gold in compound, wielding Easton X10 shafts to victory over Easton Shooter Sawyer Sullivan of the USA, while India’s Jyothi Vennam took the women’s compound gold in a final against archery legend Sara Lopez of Colombia.
All the Gold Medal finalists chose Easton’s Made in USA X10 and X10 ProTour shafts to take them to the podium.
Denmark won the men’s team compound gold, with Mattias Fullerton, Tore Bjarnarson, and World Champion Stephen Hansen equipped with X10 and X10 ProTours.
It was also a total Easton X10 sweep of every medal for the recurve competition, with Great Britain’s Penny Healey taking her first World Cup victory over Germany’s Elina Idensen, and China’s An Qixuan taking bronze. For the men, veteran Olympian Dan Olaru of Moldova defeated Olympic Silver Medalist Jean-Charles Valladont for the recurve gold.
