Easton has deployed an all-new series of bowhunting and Bowhunter Competition stabilizers for 2016. The new Contour Hunter series builds on the proven vibration-damping abilities of the Contour target stabilizer, with a number of additional innovations for the dedicated bowhunter, or NFAA Bowhunter Competitive class shooter.
Using a similar, complex-carbon fiber layup developed by Easton for the Contour system, Contour Hunter comes in two popular lengths, 8”, and an NFAA Bowhunter Class compliant 12”, and three finishes to match any hunting rig- Realtree XTRA, MAX-1 and Stealth Black.
A stealthy blackout version of the Contour Weight System is included with both models. Each stabilizer comes with a 2 ounce base and a 2 ounce pancake weight, compatible with any 5/16-24 weight system. Additional weights are available in increments of one, two and four ounces.
Until now, most bowhunting stabilizers have been more for show than performance. They have been used as a convenient way to attach a bow sling, for instance. But the Contour system provides accuracy enhancement, vibration damping, and also, makes the bow balance better when being carried in the field.
Contour Hunter system stabilizers are available from your authorized Easton dealer this month.
